Will my personal information be kept private?

Yes. We guarantee that all personal data will be kept private and confidential. We will never give out any of your personal data without your authorization. For further details, check ModaDesign.com's Terms & Conditions page.

How do I change my personal information?

Login to your account, go to the “My Profile” page and edit the information you want.

How can I leave or correct feedback?

To leave feedback, you need an account on ModaDesign.com. You have a time frame of 14 days after the order is delivered to leave feedback. After that, the ability to leave feedback expires. If you have mistakenly left negative or positive feedback for the wrong person, you can contact customers@modadesign.com to resolve the issue. There are a few other instances in which ModaDesign.com reserves the right to remove feedback. Please see our Terms and Conditions for further details.

Pre-orders/Coming Soon?

Special collections can be available for pre-order. The items you pre-order are reserved for you. They will be shipped as soon as they are available. If items are labeled as “Coming Soon,” it means that the items are going to be available for order as soon as the designer produces them.

How do I close my account?

To close your account please email customers@modadesign.com and provide us with your username or email address. We will then close your account and inform you when done.

For Designers:

If you run a boutique on Moda Design, please contact your account manager first.

PAYMENTS

How does payment work on the Moda Design District platform?

We use PayPal to process all Moda transactions. At checkout, you will be redirected to PayPal to purchase your items. You can set up a PayPal account as part of the checkout process. When you buy an item, a PayPal transaction between you and the seller will be created for the amount of the item plus shipping.

What payment methods does Moda Design accept and is it safe to use my credit card online?

We accept PayPal and all major credit and debit cards. All payments are processed through a secure checkout system provided by PayPal. Orders that are paid with a PayPal account include Buyer Protection, a feature managed by PayPal. To ensure that you don't experience any delays with your order, please make sure all your details are entered correctly.

How long will it take for my PayPal payment to clear?

PayPal payments usually clear immediately. On rare occasions, PayPal payments fail. In these instances, we recommend checking your PayPal or credit card account before repeating the purchase process.

Why are prices shown in US Dollar currency?

All transactions on Moda Design District are paid in USD. PayPal welcomes payments in all major currencies. PayPal uses its own currency conversion rate and depending on how you choose to pay, (PayPal balance or Credit Card) a PayPal conversion fee may apply. We recommend you check with PayPal if you have any queries before making a payment.

Will my personal information be kept private?

International shipping costs DO NOT include any import duties or taxes that may incur. Please note that, as the receiver, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes charged by your country - these charges may have to be paid to enable customs to release your goods. Moda Design District and its designers have no control over these charges and can’t predict what they may be.

ORDERS & SHIPPING

Do I need to set up an account to place an order?

Yes. You can browse the entire site without having to create an account. However, an account is mandatory at the checkout step before confirming your payment. Thanks to this account, you can track your orders, review your order history, request for a return directly from your account, add products you love to your wish-list. By following designers or boutiques, you will get a preview of their new collections. Finally, you will also have the option to save your address and card details, so you can shop even quicker next time.

How long does delivery take and how much it will cost?

This depends on the designers’ location and the shipping carrier they use. Please bear in mind that when you place an order, you'll receive your item directly from the designer's boutique. The shipping service is chosen by the designer. The designer's location (city and country) is displayed on their boutique profile. The delivery country, weight and volume of your product determine the cost of shipping. The cost of delivery is displayed at the checkout. When ordering from several designers, delivery costs will be charged for each shipment. When ordering several items at the same time from the same designer, delivery fees won't be added.

What about Customs?

Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be covered by you. Moda Design District and its designers have no control over these charges and can’t predict what they may be.

How can I track my order?

After the designer ships your order, you will receive an email titled “Your Order Is on the Way” with the details of your order and a tracking button. The delivery status of your order is available in real-time on “My Account / Incoming Order Status.“ You can also go to the selected carrier's website to check the status of your shipments, by inserting the provided Tracking Number Remember, if you ordered from multiple designers, you will receive multiple Tracking IDs.

Can I change my shipping address after my order has been dispatched?

Once your order has been dispatched by the designer’s boutique, we are unable to redirect your delivery to another address. To avoid any delays in receiving your order, we suggest that you provide a suitable shipping address.

Which destinations does Moda ship to?

Moda Design District ships worldwide. However, the designers are the ones who determine the countries they ship their items to. If the shipping costs aren’t displayed at the checkout, please contact the designer directly so they can add it.

Are taxes included in the price of the product or calculated at the checkout?

It’s up to the designer to include the taxes in their product prices. As a customer, you will only see the final price of each product.

RETURNS

In the case of a returned product, will I get the whole amount of the product price?

The refund includes the value of the product, minus the shipping cost. After the designer receives the return (within 14 days of requesting to return the product) and confirms that it is delivered and correct, the money will be refunded back to your credit card/account in 2 – 5 days. Please check with your payment provider for details.

What should I do if a designer refuses a return?

The designer has a right to accept/decline a return according to their Return Policy. First, go to the designer's boutique and read the Return Policy for the item you wish to return. Second, contact the designer directly through their boutique profile. For more information check the Q&A section “DISPUTES.”

DISPUTES

The designer is ignoring me?

Please make sure you have sent a message to the designer by clicking “Send Message” on the designer’s boutique profile. If you do not get a response within a reasonable amount of time, forward your purchase confirmation email to customers@modadesign.com explaining the issue and we can look into it for you.

What is a dispute?

A dispute occurs when a buyer and a seller can’t resolve a problem with a purchase directly between themselves. Disputes should be resolved through PayPal, which manages the solving of disputes and the resolution of transactions and finances.

How do disputes work and how they get resolved?

Raising a dispute should be the absolute last resort. You should always try to solve your problems by communicating directly with the designer first. Disputes take some time and often require the buyer and seller to provide evidence of their role in the transaction and item delivery. You can find more information about PayPal disputes at the PayPal help center. Disputes are handled and resolved through PayPal. Once the dispute has been resolved, Moda Design will keep a record of the resolution. Moda Design may take further action if deemed necessary, these actions could include payment reversal or the suspension of selling and/or buying privileges.
