Akane satin Furoshiki bag, it's beautifully hand-crafted, unique one-off a kind design, made of fabric and lace that I have collected through the years and rare finds in flea and antique makets.
Embellishments that I have found in various places, and each of the pieces has got a little story behind them.
Our Inspiration for creating Furoshiki bags, is Japanese traditional and sustainable technique of folding and knotting cloth, which can have variety of shapes and designs.
It's ancient and sustainable way of carrying goods, food and other precious things.
Made with love and passion for timeless, long lasting creations, that you can pass it on to the next generations and cherish forever.
As a brand, we are trying to improve our sustainable, circular approach to fashion and make our beautiful Planet not overload with waste, thats why we are using vintage fabrics, reclaimed textile from various places, upcycling centres and textile that we have collected throughout the years, rare finds in flea and antiques markets.
The bag has no lining but it's easy to wash ( hand wah or dry clean )
